Currently there are two main families farm.

Ron and Bridget Swanstrom have been farming for 40+ years and while they are taking more trips away, they are still working very hard to ensure the success of the family farm. They enjoy time with their grandchildren: Scarlett, Conrad, Jackson, Henry, Issac and Ruth.

Alex and Heather both attended Ottumwa High School and Simpson College. After college Alex went into a career in the financial services industry that took him from living in Kansas City, traveling to nearly every state as an examiner to working remotely out of home for Principal Financial Group. His passion was in agriculture and as the kids were getting older, time seemed to be more scarce and things were piling up, Alex and Heather decided to make the leap into full time farming. Heather is a teacher with Ottumwa High School and is involved with many activities outside of the school as well.

Together, Alex and Heather have two children, Scarlett and Conrad. They keep them on their toes and stay busy with horse riding, t-ball, 4-H and other activities.
